Every Oflync service, in pictures
Most owners do not need a product catalog. They need to know which tool is for the chair, which is for the till, and which is for Friday’s bank balance. Here is each Oflync service, in the order a shop actually uses it.
A Starter or Standard plan unlocks the paid tools together. Fund Treasury and Oflync Connect are free for every partner. Step-by-step screens live in the Help Center product catalog.
1. Appointments — the chair
Keep the day on a calendar, not in a chat thread.
For: salons, spas, clinics, any business that sells time.
You see the day’s slots, take a walk-in as a quick booking, and send customers from your own website into the outlet page with ?book=1 — they do not need an Oflync account. Assign a staff member to the slot (that is Staff Management). When the work is done, mark the appointment Completed and bill on Billing Desk.
If more than half of last week’s WhatsApp was “are you free at 4?”, this is the front desk you actually needed.
2. Staff Management — who is on
A directory with employee IDs, plus a standing weekly roster per outlet.
For: anyone with two or more people, especially multi-outlet.
Each person gets an ID like EMP000014. Shifts are Mon–Fri / Saturday / Sunday with times you choose — Oflync does not force 9–5. Assignments repeat every matching week until you replace or end them. Overlapping shifts for the same person are blocked. Export the roster as CSV for the floor manager.
Staff also feeds Appointments (who takes the slot) and Billing Desk Desktop (who can sign in to the till).
3. Billing Desk — the till
Invoices for what you actually sold, per outlet — not a spreadsheet.
For: the counter after a service, or a retail walk-in with no appointment.
Pick the outlet, find or create the customer (name, phone, or scan OFLYNC:CUST:…), add line items from the catalog, apply a membership code if they have one, submit. Totals stay per location.
This is money from your customers. It is not the payment you make to Oflync for the plan. Pair it with Cashflow if you want those bills to show up as income without re-typing.
4. Billing Desk Desktop — the counter PC
Same till, as an app, so staff are not living in a browser tab.
For: cashiers and floor staff on a dedicated machine.
Sign-in is account code + Employee ID + PIN. Lock one outlet for the shift. Session lasts eight hours. If the network drops, bills queue locally; at close you download an end-of-day CSV. Change outlet only after unlocking with PIN.
You set this up once in Partner Portal → Staff → Billing Desk Access. The web Billing Desk remains for the owner on a laptop.
5. Membership — the regulars
Plans you sell at the till, unique MEM… codes, a card with QR in email.
For: salons, clinics, studios that run packages or loyalty pricing.
Create a plan (discount %, duration, sale price). Sell it as a Billing Desk line to a registry customer — one active membership per person. The member percentage applies to services and products on later visits, not to the membership sale itself. Deactivate a plan when an old package should stop discounting, without deleting history.
The recognition QR identifies the customer. The discount still uses the MEM… code (or auto-applies when that customer is selected).
6. Cashflow — money in and money out
The monthly picture across all outlets, then one branch when you need to post.
For: every owner who is tired of surprises at month-end.
All outlets always shows this month’s inflow, outflow, and net. Open an outlet workspace to log rent, supplies, utilities, or cash sales. Billing Desk online payments land here automatically. Yearly report is the same numbers, month by month.
If you want customers to pay you online, Cashflow needs to be active on the plan. Treasury’s “suggested closing” also reads from here.
7. Fund Treasury — opening and closing per outlet
One bank account, many shops. Free for every partner.
For: multi-outlet businesses that share a bank account — or anyone who wants an eagle-eye close.
A statement shows one balance. Treasury stores opening and closing per outlet for a day or a month. Do not re-enter sales here; movements live in Cashflow. When both are on, Check Cashflow suggests:
Closing = Opening + (inflow − outflow)
Export the view as CSV or PDF. Last period’s closing becomes the next opening.
8. Recruitments — hiring without a spreadsheet
A pipeline for shops that hire seasonally, not a full HR system.
For: salons adding stylists, shops with turnover, any growing SME.
Browse people open to work on Oflync, or add a candidate yourself. Move them Applied → Shortlisted → Interviewed → Offered → Hired (or Rejected). Add notes after interviews. When someone is hired, create them in Staff and put them on a shift.
If you hire once a year and keep it in WhatsApp, you can skip this. If candidates go quiet because nobody followed up, you cannot.
9. Oflync Connect — other owners
A free networking space inside the Partner Portal. Customers never see it.
For: every registered partner, from day one.
Fill a Connect profile (what you do, where you are). Read the feed, learning pieces, and local events. Your outlet page is for customers booking a chair. Connect is for talking to other businesses — referrals, hiring, a GST clinic on Friday.
No subscription. Independent of the paid catalog.
